GoldenEye 007 Cheats & Codes
GoldenEye 007 contains numerous cheat codes unlocked by completing levels within target times. There are no button-code cheats — all cheats must be earned through speed runs.
Unlocking Cheats via Time Targets
Each level has three difficulty-based time targets. Completing a level on the specified difficulty within the time limit permanently unlocks the corresponding cheat. Cheats are accessible from the main menu under “Cheat Options.”

Invincibility (Facility - 00 Agent in 2:05)
The most sought-after cheat. Facility on 00 Agent requires:
- Start, immediately grab PP7 or KF7 Soviet from spawn
- Use the scientist disguise approach or dart straight to lower level
- Know where Natalya goes — don’t let her die
- Memorize explosive barrel placement to destroy computer banks
- Exit through lower bathroom
The route requires extensive practice. World record speedrunners complete it around 55 seconds.
Secret Characters in Multiplayer
Unlock additional multiplayer characters by completing campaign milestones:
- Baron Samedi: Complete the Egyptian level with all guns cheat unlocked
- Jaws: Complete the Aztec level (bonus mission)
- Oddjob: Complete the Statue level on any difficulty
- Zukovsky: Complete the Depot level
Note on Oddjob: His small stature makes his hitbox extremely difficult to hit in multiplayer. Using Oddjob is widely considered an unsportsmanlike advantage and is banned in competitive play.
Secret Aztec Level
Complete the Egyptian bonus level on 00 Agent to unlock the Aztec secret level, featuring a final showdown with Jaws. This provides additional multiplayer characters and the Silver PP7 cheat.
Egyptian Bonus Level
Complete all prior missions on Secret Agent difficulty to unlock the Egyptian bonus mission. This features a recreation of a classic Bond villain encounter and unlocks All Guns multiplayer cheat upon completion.
Multiplayer Tips
Facility is considered the finest GoldenEye multiplayer map due to its vertical layout and ventilation shaft connections. Control the DA5 and lower bathroom to dominate.
Licensed to Kill mode (one-hit kills) completely changes multiplayer — accuracy and positioning matter more than fire rate. Golden Gun becomes dominant.
Proximity Mines in Bunker stage multiplayer: plant them on ladders and doorways. The person who controls the Bunker’s weapon crates has a significant advantage.
Tank Level Skip
On the Streets level, getting into the tank immediately without engaging early enemies and driving directly to the exit targets dramatically reduces completion time. This approach is used for unlocking the Tiny Bond cheat via time target.
